Toronto based electronic musician, Glenn Love released his new CD, Belle Epoque on Sonic-X Records (Germany) in September, 2005.
Belle Epoque presents dark electronic beats combined with diverse elements from neo-folk, electro, trance, ambient, and celtic themes. With this album, Glenn continues with the practice of crafting all of his own beats, samples and loops. The album was recorded in Toronto, mastered in Germany and features remixes by AntiStasis and T.H. Industry.
Building on his reputation as a dynamic live musician Glenn played a series of critically acclaimed concerts in Toronto to showcase his new material. A promotional trip to Germany in December included a performance as a special guest with T.H.Industry at the Dark Dance Treffen in Lahr.
Glenn returned to Europe in June 2006 to play two concerts in Leipzig during Wave Gotik Treffen as part of the XtraX Open Arts Festival.
Recent performances include a concert with Fractured in Quebec City February 4th and a second concert in Quebec City with Hypnos June 16th.
Belle Epoque charted on Canadian college radio from Sept. 2005 to May 2006 and charted for eight weeks on the Native 25 German Alternative DJ Music Charts.
Promotion in Europe has resulted in very positive reviews in major Gothic / Industrial print and web press including Sonic Seducer, Zillo, Gothic Magazine, Legacy, Oblivion, Elektrauma and Black Magazine.
Glenn's November 2001 release, Cruel Utopia, recieved widespread critical success. Belle Epoque and Cruel Utopia are distributed by SX Distribution.
In addition to writing new material Glenn is planning a new circuit of concerts.
